A few of us went down to our local theater in Visalia and watched the Mercy Streets trailer on the big screen for the first time! WOW!!! It previewed in front of a film that opened in theaters today. Look for it in your theater!

Platinum recording artist Moby, Sixpence None the Richer, Jennifer Knapp, and Deliriou5? are now officially confirmed for the Mercy Streets soundtrack. CD in stores nationwide Oct. 3, just before the release of the film. The films music is being mixed for 5.1 surround sound. A nice phat sound!

Current itinerary for the Mercy Streets Grass Roots Tour is being developed.

First movie poster was hand delivered to a theater in 3 of the producers' home town of Visalia, CA. Look for Mercy Streets posters to start popping up at theaters across the country. And to think... a little over a year ago, this was just an idea! Some are calling it the "Blair God Project". The producers are calling it a new era in filmmaking from a Christian world view.

Check the "Listings" page. As of today, we are not opening in the following markets on Oct. 6: BAKERSFIELD, FLINT, MINNEAPOLIS, ST. LOUIS. These are now secondary markets that may open in November.

We are considering the addition of the following markets for Oct.6: MIAMI, BIRMINGHAM, WICHITA, ALBUQUERQUE, PHOENIX, ROCKFORD and JACKSONVILLE. STAY TUNED FOR THESE CHANGES.

Mercy Streets Preview played before thousands at DC/LA Youth Conference in LA last week. And will do it again when the conference hits DC later this month before a crowd of 30,000.

Films with Hollywood quality made from a Christian world view. Impacting culture in a positive way through the product and the filmmaking process. We want to engage the culture... challenge others by our compassion, depth, passion, authenticity and character.

A cutting edge soundtrack combined with fast paced action and a redeeming message."

Forefront Records CD Summer Festival Sampler: over 100,000 CD's are being distributed across the U.S. this summer. It contains the MERCY STREETS Electronic Press Kit. The "EPK" will be sent out on video to each volunteer willing to show it to a ton of people... make sure you have signed up.

Christian Music Festivals: Spy Promotions will have "spys" passing out flyers at major festivals this summer and at DC/LA. Keep your eyes peeled for the Mercy Streets "EPK"!

Movietickets.com advance ticket sales: You can point people to this site to buy their movie tickets for Mercy Streets in advance. More information coming.

Encourage "groups" to go see the movie, especially on the first weekend. This will help the film gain national exposure. Youth groups and church groups should purchase tickets in advance and make an event out of it. Christians must get behind this film if they want to see more like it come out of Hollywood.

This movie is going to have an incredible soundtrack. Already, Moby, Delirious, Sixpence None The Richer (an unreleased cut), and Jennifer Knapp are slated for the soundtrack.
